What benefits does Sam’s Club Credit Card offer?
Sam’s Club MasterCard offers Sam's Cash when used in club or online. Sam's Cash earned during a reward period will be issued monthly and automatically loaded onto your Sam’s Club membership. Once available, redeem it for most online or club purchases or redeem it for cash in your local club.
How do I apply for the Sam’s Club Credit Card?
Apply at www.samsclub.com/credit or by visiting the Membership Desk in any club.
What's required to apply for the Sam's Credit Card?
- Must be a current Sam’s Club Member
- Must have a valid, physical U.S. mailing address
- Apply in the club or at www.samsclub.com/credit
Where can I use my Sam’s Club Credit Card?
Use your Sam's Club Mastercard anywhere that Mastercard is accepted.
How do I pay my credit card bill?
If unsure which card you have, reference your physical card and select the login that matches your card or select the card type option from the login screen.
Pay Online: Sign in or create an online account at https://samsclub.syf.com/accounts/login. For help, see pay Sam's Club credit card online.
Pay by Phone: Pay by phone by calling the number on the back of your card.
Pay by Mail: The address is located on the payment stub of your billing statement. You can also receive this info by calling the number on the back of your card and will also have the option to make your payment over the phone.
NOTE: Payments are usually posted to the account same day. Although payments "post" to the account, payments made by check will take 7-14 days to process and free up the open-to-buy. If you pay using cash or debit card, your open-to-buy is available immediately.
Can I pay my credit card bill at the club?
Credit card payments are no longer accepted at the Membership Desk.
What is Autobill?
Autobill is added to all Sam's Club credit accounts as a convenience for our members.
- By automatically billing and renewing membership fees, you never have to worry about your membership expiring.
- A receipt for an Autobill membership renewal is available on your next monthly credit statement.

Is Autobill the same as Auto Renew?
Automatic Billing charges your Sam's Mastercard for annual membership renewal, and it only applies to Sam's Club Credit Card holders. For help with Autobill, call the number on the back of your credit card or billing statement.

How do I set up paperless Sam's Club credit statements?
For Sam's Club Consumer Credit, call the number on the back of their credit card or:
- Visit www.samsclub.com/credit
- Select Manage Your Account and choose the Login for Consumer Credit
- Select Activity
- Select Statements
- Select Enroll in eStatements
For Sam's Club Business Credit, call the number on the back of their credit card or:
- Visit www.samsclub.com/credit
- Select Manage Your Account
- Choose the Login for Business Credit
- Login to eService
- Near the bottom of current statement details, select Enroll in Electronic Statements
From the Account Summary page on both consumer and business credit accounts:
- Select/click "Paperless Statements" to turn ON or OFF
- Opt-in or opt-out of text and email alerts
What is a CVV Code on a credit card?
CVV Number or (Card Verification Value or Card Security Code or CVV2 number) is the 3-digit number typically found on the back of your credit or debit card. American Express® cards have a 4-digit numeric code, usually found on the front of the card.
Consumers are generally required to provide the CVV code for all online purchases. This helps protect purchasers and reduces fraud.
- CVV numbers are NOT your card's secret PIN (Personal Identification Number)
- Most CVV codes are 3-digits and most PIN's are 4-digits
- PIN numbers are usually required when using a Credit/Debit card at an ATM or for cash advances

How does a temporary credit card work?
Temporary credit cards are valid for up to 14 days after an account is approved, or until the new, plastic credit card is received and activated.
