How do I make my online order tax exempt?
To purchase online as tax exempt, you must be approved for Tax Exempt Status. If you haven't been approved, you will not be able to purchase as tax exempt.
— Select tax exempt during checkout:
- Sign in to begin checkout.
- When you click the Check Out button from the cart, an option to apply tax exemption will show.
- By selecting "Yes", you must also accept the disclaimer and all eligible items will have tax exemption applied.
- Everyone on a tax exempt Membership can purchase as tax exempt unless blocked by the primary cardholder.
- For questions about item limits or restrictions, check with your state's branch of the IRS.
