Can the name on a membership be changed?
The primary cardholder/member cannot be changed or deleted except if the primary has passed away or under certain exceptions.
EXCEPTIONS:

If you were recently married or divorced and wish to update your name

If you have a Sam's Club Mastercard

If your Membership is business related and your representative has changed, a written request for the change on company letterhead will be required.
To change cardholder information, call us at 888-746-7726 and provide the required info.
If a family member has recently passed away and you want to cancel their membership, please call us at 888-746-7726 and say "Cancel Membership" when prompted. You can also make this request at the help desk of your local Sam's Club.
